PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 12, 2025) – VIVA Padel & Pickleball Club is pulling back the curtains with an official grand opening celebration starting with a members-only preview on Friday, June 6 from 5 pm to 9 pm, and opening to the general public on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 from 7 am to 10 pm. Located at 1300 N 8th Street, this 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility marks Philadelphia’s first dedicated outdoor padel and pickleball club. The grand opening event is free to attend and welcomes guests of all ages to experience the club’s premier amenities and vibrant community atmosphere.
VIVA’s facilities include four professional-grade padel courts and four pickleball courts, ensuring ample space for players to enjoy their game. Additional amenities feature a pro shop housed in a revamped 1968 Airstream Overlander 28, offering high-quality gear and apparel, as well as a social and viewing area designed to foster community engagement. Modern bathrooms and showers are also available for comfort and convenience.

To keep the momentum going after the grand opening, VIVA is rolling out a full calendar of June events designed to welcome new players and deepen community engagement. The month kicks off with “Padel Experience Day” on June 7, featuring a full slate of clinics and open play for all skill levels, followed by weekly leagues, beginner-friendly workshops, and social mixers that blend sport and community. VIVA offers a range of membership tiers designed to accommodate various player preferences and lifestyles. Options include Individual, Couples & Family, Premium, and Premium+ memberships. Each tier provides different benefits, such as varying court rental fees, advanced booking privileges, and access to exclusive events. For a limited time, VIVA is waiving the standard $240 initiation fee, allowing new members to join for just $1 prior to the club’s official opening.
While membership comes with a variety of perks, non-members can also rent courts, starting at $25 per hour / per person. VIVA’s private lessons for individuals and groups will also be open to non-members, as will clinics and open plays.
