Cotton Mill Pickleball is North Mississippi’s premier four-court indoor facility. Initially, plans were to make the building an upscale bowling alley; however, the widespread success of pickleball convinced the owners to choose differently. Cotton Mill Pickleball opened in February of 2024 in Tupelo and has since evolved into the tight-knit community today.
Though only a year old, the Paddle Up Pickleball Club in St. Charles County has made an unmistakable impact on pickleball in the greater St. Louis area. Their strategy is simple: catering to new players and going all in on programming events.
Exciting things are coming to Detroit, Michigan, as Northville Pickleball Club has announced its plan to open in 2025. Set to be the largest pickleball facility in Michigan, and one of the largest in the country, Northville is changing the landscape of pickleball before they’ve even broken ground. Not only is Northville pushing the boundary on size and vision, but they have followed a unique path to get there. When faced with issues presented by opening a pickleball club in the city, Northville decided to partner with a local church. This special partnership solved their problems of land, proximity to the city, and the expenses that come with opening the largest pickleball facility in the state. Northville Pickleball Club is a distinct example of ingenuity and resolve, paving the way for others to follow.
Two Rivers Pickleball Club in Bigfork, Montana is maximizing their facility both as a pickleball space and a local event center. Twin Rivers’ list of almost 2,000 members testifies to the excellent pickleball scene that the club provides, boasting an array of indoor and outdoor courts, pristine amenities, and a top-notch training program called “the Academy.” But, as the club owner Jim Lafferty says, “We’re not just a pure pickleball club, but we are designed for [non-pickleball] events as well.” As a community event center, Two Rivers hosts a variety of events like banquets, weddings, concerts, and more.

Seeking to go above and beyond in their community engagement and philanthropic efforts, KC Crew, based out of Kansas City, Missouri, has established their fundraising arm as a foundational element of their social sports league. Hosting a multitude of different types of sports leagues throughout the area, including cornhole, sand volleyball, kickball, and yes, of course pickleball, KC Crew is a diverse entertainment and recreational organization that uses these various activities to create a lasting impact on their community. In addition to their regular league programming, KC Crew hosts a variety of public, private, and fundraising events in partnership with numerous businesses and organizations throughout the Kansas City area.
